Thanks Stevie - that would be quite a trip for you, especially for a short informal meet like this one. I'm just excited that we've got some momentum on this one (finally). Most Charlotte-based meets are small and end up with 3 - 5 folks. The 2005 east coaster IS going to be big

Here are some pics I snapped of my GS a couple of months ago at Lowe's Motor Speedway so you can get an idea if its something you're interested in doing. Pretty neat scenery IMO, even if you aren't into NASCAR.

All Lexus enthusiasts welcome! Where: Quaker Steak and Lube near Lowes Motor Speedway and Concord Mills (link and more directions below) When: 10:30am on Saturday October 23 What: We'll get there 1/2 hour before they open and secure part of the parking lot. They've got a nice patio that we can hang out in and have some lunch and beverages. Possibly do a Lexus cruise in the area after lunch and maybe snap some pics at LMS. My detail guy may come by as well and give us some professional tips and tricks. I've spoken with the assistant manager at QS&L and we're all approved for the meet. Very sorry you can't make it Blake, maybe things will shift around so you can attend :). Even if you can't be there, other folks are certainly welcome to come since we've already have the date and place picked, done all the planning, have discounts arranged, etc! Just make your reservation and show up :). There are several groups of attendees that will caravan from Florida, Atlanta and NC if people want to join one of those and not drive in on their lonesome.

All LOC folks are welcome to join a SE event we've already got setup in late August (8/20 - 22). It's an annual driving / Lexus meet event (this is the third one) in the mountains of NC / TN near Asheville. If you don't have a handling-modified Lexus you're absolutely still welcome to attend - we run a 'safety group' at the back of the drive that drives pretty slow. We will have some faster groups as well - this year we should have at three or four supercharged GS400's (including mine), three turbo IS300s and one turbo SC300. We have a website setup for it here with a lot of details (click the tabs at the top of the main page on Lexusdragon link below) and have a discussion going on here on CL. http://www.lexusdragon.com Only catch is that HIN Atlanta is the same weekend.
