  1. Wow! looks like a major overhaul, just a shame the parts are incorrect as it would have been an in-and-out job otherwise. Hope the parts come through soon enough
  2. Welcome to the Lexus Owners Club Events forum section Its been a while since this section has seen the light of day, so thought it was time to revive it now that we have freedom of movement pretty much in most parts of the free-world. Got an event planned or just want to share one you are attending? Feel free to post up any national or local events relating to Lexus or even just events that will host Lexus cars amongst others. (please note: the Moderation Team reserve the right to remove any content that goes against Lexus Owners Club rules at any time)

  3. Now this would be an interesting road trip! Full of excitement and danger - a true challenge
  4. Lexus LFA Nürburgring Edition
  5. Introducing the most-advanced NX ever. Engineered with the future of luxury in mind, the 2022 #LexusNX is the thrilling result of intuitive technology, dynamic performance, and personalized luxury — all designed to elevate your lifestyle. 6. Sounds like the ambient light sensor (possibly located in the windshield area) is fault or even just obscured with dirt which can give a false reading of the available light?
  7. There should be an eject button/slot in the head unit behind the drop down fascia to access the DVD. See if there is a pin hole to insert a paper clip or similar?
  8. Going on an interesting Road Trip? Got any advice for fellow travellers...which routes are best, what to avoid, best stopovers? Amazing Roads travelled (Route66, Stelvio Pass, Transfagarasan, Amalfi). Share your Road Trip with us and inspire other Lexus drivers to follow your route
  9. That's exactly what I like after a day of work (and weekends) 🙂
  10. Got a few of them but not from riding my motorbikes, instead falling out of a roof and busting my leg....oh well, could have been worse 🙂
  11. Looks like an attachment point for a tow bar installation. However, it would definitely benefit from a good wire brushing and corrosion inhibitor applied to it
  12. There are companies that provide retro-fit car covers that are great for use if dirty clothing or muddy dogs are sitting on the seat but still look good. However, they are cheap but not a Lexus standard fit or appearance. Another option would be to remove a seat cover from another ES that may be in a junk yard as they are removable with a little bit of skill and effort
  13. It should be transferable across all owners within the standard Lexus warranty period. Just ensure that you complete any paperwork (or online forms) that transfer ownership through Lexus warranty department. Your local Lexus dealer should be able to assist with this
  14. I reckon it may be worth considering what the car is mainly used for as there is a trade off with comfort vs cornering and for mainly street work then an adjustable coilover is fine if loosened off and then adjusted up for track work. Either of these makes are known makes and very reputable on the track
  15. Try this, may be the same for your model year?
  16. You obviously have too many dollar bills in your wallet 🙂
  17. Not sure if there is a Letter of Compliance included in the vehicle documentation pack. There is in most cases with other vehicle manufacturers (Cars & Bikes) and is included in the Handbook. Let us know how you get on with the import and any other hurdles you encounter
  18. You certainly seem to be working through a methodical process. Please keep us updated on what you find to be the potential cause of this fault
  19. I wonder if you could get it welded with a sleeve to further strengthen it albeit a spring steel which may still fracture elsewhere but would work in the interim
  20. Just out of curiosity, would it be worthwhile parking the vehicle into the driveway/garage in reverse so that on cold start up the car can be shifted into Drive and see if the fault replicates?
  21. I would start with checking fluid level and condition in the Auto Transmission. Change if necessary and also the filter at the same time. Whilst your under the car then it is also worth checking the electrical conditions for security
  22. A few YouTube videos here: https://www.google.com/search?q=2002+lexus+es300+door+card+removal&rlz=1C5CHFA_enGB935GB935&oq=2002+lexus+es300+door+card+removal&aqs=chrome..69i57j0i22i30l2.14660j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
