So my “dream car” isnt that expensive realtively speaking, its a 1998 BMW M3. I have been a BMW mechanic for over 30 years so I have a lot of custmers with BMW's. That being said a customer of mine had a 1998 M3 that had been sitting in her drieway for 4 years as she was very old and didnt drive much. She sold it to me for $2500 It had been well maintained( she had me doing maintenance even though she never drove it) and passed smog first time. The car is in excellent condition.
Got any pics to post up , would love to see the M3
I have owned for the past 10 years a BMW Z3 Roadster, incredibly reliable and absolutely love driving it 🙂- 1

check your cabin filter is intact as this can draw fumes through to the inside

yes, unless the hubs disconnect then they will still turn with the wheels but just not connect to the transfer box
-
Does it help to pull the inner cover closed as sometimes this secures the glass roof in place
-
I would contact your local dealer as they will have listings on their computer to show what is available
-
I would imagine most parts of the car are covered by warranty as long as it is not down to damage or wear and tear

Its unlikely (but not impossible if a common earth has broken) for the circuits to be linked unless carrying the same fuse power supply.
Maybe recheck the fuses with a multimeter or swap into another circuit to see if this is affected....sometimes difficult to see a hairline fracture of a fuse link

I don't like sitting in my favorite lawn chair and hearing ripping sounds.
Uh oh! Stitching is failing……
As a bonus the joints were all assembled with pop rivets. Sigh! Oh well, I'll just drill out the pop rivets, fix the stitches and reassemble with screws.
The things a man would do for his favorite chair 🙂
