  1. I have put links to ALL the GX build threads that I have found in the first post of my build thread. http://www.toyota120.com/forum/showthread.php?t=14731
  2. Right... Don't take "No" for an answer from the dealership because sometimes employees don't know and just say what they think.
  3. I would call the Lexus Dealership and ask if the TSB for the driveline clunk has been performed. Push for them to do it if they don't have records that they can show you that it was done. Your vin# should be able to pull those records from the dealership. Fix that first because it is a factory recall that LEXUS will fix for free even if you are out of warranty. Here is a 21 page thread on the drive line clunk http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=29288&st=0 Good luck!
  4. Low octane gas in my QX56 causes knocking. You could have got some bad gas. Try running a few tanks of premium through your rig and see if it goes away altogether then switch to the lower octane and see if the pinging/knocking comes back.
  5. Driveline clunk is fixed under a recall not your warranty. I had my 2005 with no warranty fixed just a couple of months ago at no cost to me. GX470 is just as reliable as the next Toyota... :)
