99 RX300 bell going off
Have 250k on it with new battery and alternator. For some reason now when I'm driving there is a bell tone that goes off about every minute. And just one chime at a time. When parked it doesn't. Appreciate any help. Thnx Rod
Replacing Rear Sway Bar Bushings
I posted the thread Popping sound and still have it after read sway bar links changed and new shocks I have decided to replace the rear sway bar bushings. It appears to be straight forward. My problem is finding the right Rear Sway bar bushings. I find a lot of front bushings but not rear. The bar is 3/4” , 9mm. I have tried the local Autozone, Advanced Auto Parts, Oreily’s and Rock Auto. Maybe I am doing my searching incorrect. 2014 Lexus RX350 rear sway bar bushings. Have also tried Rear St
Headlight Problem, Low Beams not working on 2012 RX 450h
Both of the low beam headlights stopped working recently, and I can't seem to find any information that might be helpful to resolve the issue. I've checked the fuses for each side, and they are intact, do I would assume that because they both stopped working simultaneously that it would be a relay or ballast issue, and not light bulb or fuse. But I have exhausted my online search to find where the low beam relay would be located, to test and/or replace. Is there anyone who can identify the speci
AC/Alternator belt replacement
Hey guys. So I was just outside trying to replace my AC/Alternator belt. The old one shredded itself last night, barely made it home on battery power only. New belt came today. After doing some quick research I see what is involved in getting the alternator to pivot down, in order to give me enough slack to be able to slide the new belt on. Problem is, the alternator doesn't pivot down enough and there's really no way to get leverage to pry/force it on. I'm wondering if anyone has had this probl

Alan Funk one of the original moderators of this forum is in poor heath. He loved solving problems & helping and talking all things about cars especially his 3 Lexuses ! He has a 2007 ES350 w/Ultra-Luxury Package. w/25,000 miles. Amber Pearl w/Cashmere interior. Its only been serviced by Lexus , parked in a private spot and babied…orginal owner of course! I’m wondering if anyone has interest? I haven’t listed this anywhere else as I felt it would be respectful to him for me to present it to the Lexus Owner Club members first.
