Transmission Shift Solenoids?
I have been all over this forum since picking up a 99 RX300 the other day. Car has 139k on it. Awesome info in here! Mine has the dreaded 2-3 shift issue, the kicker is, guy I got it from just had the transmission replaced with a 50k mile JDM because of said issue. Got the car back and it was still doing the same thing with the new trans in it. Now some research I have done on the JDM transmissions is that they say you have to use the solenoids from the stock trans as they do not come with them,
How long to get second key 2024 RX350?
The dealer had no idea how long it would take, from reading 6 months is not out of the question. How long has it taken to get your second key? Also, My wife got hit by a rock on the interstate today (500 miles on car) and cracked the windshield pretty bad. State Farm sent me to a local shop who ordered me a new windshield from Lexus (2024 RX350 Luxury) and was told the windshields were on backorder with no ETA on arrival. Phone Performance Issues
Good afternoon all, Within the past 4 months using the phone on my wife's 13 RX350 has all changed due to static and connectivity issues. We have never done a software update. Has anyone else had a problem like this? If so, what was the remedy please?
Toyota Apologizes
I saw in the news this morning that Toyota is apologizing for incorrect testing of some Toyota and Lexus vehicles. The article said that some specs were not accurate including safety, torque and engine torque for some cars. The article I read was not clear on whether this included the US models. This comes on the heels of a pending recall for engine manufacturing debris that was left in some motors. They are reviewing a plan to repair these now. Along side this report, several other Japanes
Shocks and Struts
We have a 2005 ES330 with 142K on the clock. I replaced the strut assemblies with aftermarket parts and we no longer have a smooth, silent ride. I am willing to bite the bullet and do what might be needed to restore it to Lexus like ride and handling. It's smooth at highway speeds, but noisy and not smooth at slow speeds, especially on uneven surfaces. Any suggestions for shocks/struts that will improve the situation would be appreciated.

Alan Funk one of the original moderators of this forum is in poor heath. He loved solving problems & helping and talking all things about cars especially his 3 Lexuses ! He has a 2007 ES350 w/Ultra-Luxury Package. w/25,000 miles. Amber Pearl w/Cashmere interior. Its only been serviced by Lexus , parked in a private spot and babied…orginal owner of course! I’m wondering if anyone has interest? I haven’t listed this anywhere else as I felt it would be respectful to him for me to present it to the Lexus Owner Club members first.
