What happens when the battery pack is totally dead? The display shows a steadty decline in charge. It is now at 23,5

I have a 2008 400h. Rex\cently I have notice the  mph is N\now it is 23.5 down from 26.8. What happens when the battery pack is totally dead. Can I drive with the engine only?

No, but consider this: There are RX400h owners on this forum who have over 260,000 miles on their odometers. Unless you have hit 300,000 miles on your RX, I don't think you have anything to worry about. A gradual drop in mileage over 20 years and many miles is normal. The same thing happens to your cell phone and laptop batteries.
