Nakamichi Amp

I need to replace the Amp in my 1995 SC400. I contacted the local dealership and they quoted me a price of $1,360.00 for the Amp. Can anyone tell me what thePart Number for this AMP is? Does anyone know where I might find a Nakamichi Amp for my car at a more reasonable price?

you will have to find one at a junk yard or ebay or somthing. or you can see if another amp is compatible with the system and go with an aftermarket.

My 95 SC400 was having the amp problem as well just recently.

It turned out as a power supply problem.

I looked around the web for amp repair shops and found several.

You can certainly try this place:

They want you to ship the amp to them for repair and will send it back once it is fixed. Costs around $250-$300.

I myself got mine fixed at a local car audio experts who repair Nakamichi as well.

I spent about $250, but it is definitely better option since you get to talk to them and have it reinstalled for actual test. Look around your town for any expert shops.

I would not want to get a brand new amp for a 95 model.
