tgrant
Has any body removed the badges from the rear liftgate (the ones that say "LEXUS" and "RX 330")? I've done this on other cars and generally like the less cluttered look. I'm assuming the badges are simply glued to the rear door and can be peeled off. Anybody with experience? Pictures of 'de-badged' cars? Thanks
jerryray
Yes, used a heat gun and plastic scraper. Very gently lift one edge as you apply the heat. Worked fine. I did this to self install the gold emblem package I purchased on ebay.

daddyo
I used dental floss to remove the badges on my BMW 525, it worked great to cut the tape on the back of the emblems, no harm to the paint. I cleaned the glue off with Goo Gone cleaner.and a little polish. My wife likes the badges on her Rx so they must stay. Marty
XQ1
Are the rear badges held only by glue/tape, or are there also holes underneath them? I'm planing on replacing mine with gold emblems. Thanks for any help.
SW03ES
No holes, only on the Lexus L.
