  1. Do you mean doing something other than going into the menu and setting the volume to 'none'? I've done that on my wife's car and the nav audio never comes on except for when we manually turn it on...
  2. Thanks! I had recently seen one for the ES, but I must have missed it if there was a recent post for the RX...
  3. Hello All, Upon picking up my RX330, the dealer said that they can alter features of the car (like whether the alarm beeps or not) via the C-BEST settings. I've subsequently been told by my service department that the settings are listed in the manual. Is this true? I've gone looking for them in the manual (I thought thoroughly), and haven't found them. Does anybody know if there is a list in the manual or somewhere else? Otherwise, please list the options that you know of... Thanks
  4. Can the RX330 standard stereo play MP3 files burned on a CD? I've had great success with standard burned CD's (disk to disk copy) but in brief test, haven't had any success with MP3 format songs. I'd like to exploit the better compression of MP3 to hold a greater number of songs in the CD changer. Thanks
  5. I purchased, rather than leased. However, I was able to get mine for $500 over invoice. I found that the Costco car buying program offered the best deals. They were able to offer $500 over invoice on all trim levels (there was no information about the 400H at that time).
  6. I'm in the same situation. Have you (or anybody) tried taking out the nav system to access the e-brake bypass wire on the RX330? I've played around a little bit, but can't figure out how to get the center area of the dash off in order to access the signal lines.
  7. Has any body removed the badges from the rear liftgate (the ones that say "LEXUS" and "RX 330")? I've done this on other cars and generally like the less cluttered look. I'm assuming the badges are simply glued to the rear door and can be peeled off. Anybody with experience? Pictures of 'de-badged' cars? Thanks
  8. Hello All, I have an RX330 with the rear seat entertainment system and the NAV. I have toyed with playing movies on the NAV screen when the car is parked (e-brake on). I have also played with hooking up a video game system into the rear cargo inputs for the rear seat monitor. This works well, but I can't seem to get that input to play to the NAV screen. Has anybody gotten this to work? Believe it or not, my wife is a Gauntlet junkie and it would be nice to allow her to play (in the FRONT passenger seat) when we take road trips. Thanks for input.
  9. Keep trying. This one took me several attempts to make it happen. I kept trying shorter and longer times until I got it right. The car seems to be really picky about holding the switch exactly 5 seconds during the procedure. Good luck.
