Fule pressure pulsation damper

If anybody could explain the differences between the two fule pressure regulator and the fule pressure pulsation damper on the back ends of the fuel rails I need to know because I just swapped them out from auto zone and they both look different from the original denzo ones and now I keep getting a gas smell coming from under the hood ...?? Sos someone save my 03 sc 430

If you are smelling fuel then it must be leaking from somewhere.

May only be a small amount but although the regulator/damper are different they may be faulty or the installation is missing a seal?

Worth removing after depresurrising the system and checking for correct sealing
