Bamiz Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 I have a 99 RX300 AWD with a bad motor, since I have to either rebuild of replace the motor....... I was thinking about putting a V8 from a LX 470 or from a comparable Toyota. Anyone know if it possible & how difficult would it be?

First of all the LX470 is a rear wheel drive or 4 wheel drive with engine facing front to back not sideways like the RX300. I don't believe you can do this within a reasonable budget. Just find another 3.0 V6 engine or rebuild.
