Synthetic oil LS430

What weight synthetic oil 2004 LS430 with 146,000 very well maintained.  Northern IL vicinity.

I use 10/40 summer, 5/30 winter. Frequent oil & filter changes is probably more important than weight, however.

My '04 LS430 has oil & filter changes every 3,000 miles, Mobil One synthetic, and runs great after 235,000 miles.

The correct oil weight is 5W30 year-round.  It is never necessary to use any other weight.

Any good brand of 5w30 oil and then follow the 5k oil change interval.

I use royal purple 5w30 with Motorcraft fl400s oversized filter. you can go to 8k to 10k mile intervals with a quality filter and full synthetic.
