What does this button in my glovebox do?

I drive a lexus RX 330 2006 model. I would like to know what this button is for. It is inside my glove box and no it is not for my powerdoor. I have included both pictures of the powerdoor button and the other button I don't know what the name is or what it is used for.

Looks like an FM transmitter for iPod integration. The 88.1-88.7 are FM frequencies. Does it have a male 3.5mm headphone jack attached?

Hi guys,

At first I thought it might be a Valet lock out. This was to keep some function disabled when leaving your car with Valet parking. But this is not it. The photograph does not look like a typical Lexus part. This part is designed as a after market device. (I don't think Lexus offers this device any more.

Hi did you find out what the unit in the glove box is? 

I bought a used Honda Crv which has the same, I have no idea what this could be but my guess would be a transmitter for the radio. 

Please help
