Lex3486 Posted April 25, 2004 Posted April 25, 2004 Well it would seem that I'm up for another round with my ES. This'll be about the fourth rebuild I've had with the transmission, so we'll see how it goes this time...the shop discovered that the differential was fried (?) and said that that could have possibly been the reason that it keeps breaking to begin with. Guess we'll find out soon enough!
NeiLtYmE Posted April 25, 2004 Posted April 25, 2004 Hey man, yeah Sorry i missed your im earlier. Id been out all night. Hopefully they arent feeding you any crap. Did they let you see it?
Lex3486 Posted April 25, 2004 Author Posted April 25, 2004 What my car? I've got it in the garage right now lol. I assume that's what you're talkin about...I'm not 100% happy with the repair this time (surprise surprise) but I guess we'll see if it holds out. It's just a little more jerky than it was the last couple times they rebuilt it...couldn't have had better timing on it though-got it back the morning of my senior prom. That's where I got the "back in black" deal b/c me and my date both wore black and we were in a black car B)
SKperformance Posted May 3, 2004 Posted May 3, 2004 Make sure the throttle cable is perfectly adjusted .if not it can and has caused a few trannies to shift harder and then dies pretty quickly.
JPI Posted May 3, 2004 Posted May 3, 2004 I still don't get it. If the diff is fried, your tranny doesn't work at all. But whatever they say. Wish you best of luck. JPI
