At this point in time, Lexus is planning on 2017 to begin manufacturing the new LC-Coupe. The article explains the reason they want to make a world class racing car, but priced against the consideration of German and Italian models.

It appears that Lexus has really come around to an aggressive plan for the new models with their aggressive styling and marketing. The LC-C will be built close to the LFA facilities and Lexus will only make something around 2,000 a year.
