Es Remote Start

Does the 2009 ES come with remote start becuase some people push the lock button 3 times and hold it on the third press so is this option standard?

Remote start was optional in 2009. I think 2014 was the first model year that remote start was included in Lexus Enform on the ES but I'm not certain.

It was junk. Primarily, because the transmitter distance was reported to be less than 20ft. in some situations. Most owners up til now have installed after-market remote starters. As for the updated Lexus remote, I don't know what the current situation is.

I use a aftermarket remote and love it.

I keep my car in the garage so I certainly don't want remote start. That would be dangerous if you started it by accident.
