nastboi
I was told by two separate car shops that the labor cost of replacing my timing belt was $550. Does that seem a little excessive to pay for the labor? The belt only cost me 50 dollars, but I am expected to pay 550 for labor. Does anyone know of an instructional manual that I can use myself? jimbostar
Yeah, that does sound about right. It's a tricky job if you've never done it before - you need to align some timing marks and not sure for your motor, but sometines you have to set the tension properly too. This only has to get done every 100k miles or so, if you think of it that way it's not so bad $$$.
