jammer1 Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Hello Lexus Family, New here on the forum and could really use some help, I'm getting into this 1999 GS 300 (VVT-i) the car is in great condition and I believe is resurrect vip worthy (only 102,000 on it), but my dilemma is that drove it a couple of days ago no problems, until this morning. Now its cranking with no start. I replaced the fuel pump, checked and cleaned coil packs/spark plugs and all that has resulted in an intermittent spark issue, fuel is getting up the line to the junction/breaking point within the primary fuel line, and I need help, went to local parts store, and guess what no repair manual, I saw a post during my search for a post by member lexman96 who has the manual for the '99 GS 300, I hope that I can get the repair manual for the car, thanks in advance for everyone's help.---Jammer1
silverbullitt Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 Two things to check or just simply replace: cam positioning sensor & your crank sensor. Cam sensor located on the top by the cam pulley & the crank sensor should be by the crank pulley.
