Amp?

So I took my SC400 to the car wash for the first time today. Long story short... Lots of popping and my kids freaking out. Reading on here the earlier SCs were known to have amp problems due to water getting in the trunk. The car has been rode hard and put away wet (I just recently ended up with the car) so I would tend to think water on the amp. Replacements? Costs? I really like this car, but holy crap she is nickel and diming me to death. Lol.
