oxfordlexusman Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 Need some help here !! I can't find the transmission fluid dipstick on my 2006 LS430. Is this a sealed unit? How do you check the fluid level? Thanks in advance for any guidance !!
Steve Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 on the 2001 to 2006 transmission its located next to the engine oil dipstick (yellow) and the transmission one is red.

curiousB Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 There is no dipstick for the AT. The AT is so called "lifetime lubricated". Adding or draining fluid to AT is done from below, a royal pain too...... 1
cagfoneguy Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 I have a 2003...the tranny dipstick is mounted low alongside the oil dipstick. It has a retention clip, but can be removed and checked as normal. It is labeled as not requiring service under normal driving. LF.
BMW7_LS430 Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 01-03 has a dip stick 04-06 is sealed (Still has drain, overflow, and fill plugs on the transmission itself)
