Washer Fluid Warning Lamp

The washer fluid lamp is on again on my 2000 LS400. I briefly disconnected the battery to reset it a few days ago, but it has gone on again despite the reservoir being full of fluid. How can I repair it myself, or just defeat the sensor it so that the normal dash display returns? Thanks in advance for any help.

You can disconnect the sensor and determine your fluid level the old fashion way or you can buy a new sensor. It's located at the bottom of the fluid reservoir. Sometimes the float gets stuck.
