92 Instrument Light Is Off?

I seen problems where the light on the needle flicker. But my problem is everything but the needles, the needles work and the led on the needles STAY on, it does not flicker. Only the lights that illuminate the numbers on the speedometer,RPM and the hot-cold and gas meter stays off. Do i need to buy a cluster repair or is it just the bulb?

sounds like a bulb to me.. let us know how you get on

The backlighting for the speedometer/RPM/Temperature and Gas gauges is done by CCFL and is probably due to a fault in that circuit.

It's either a case of sending it off for repair or converting to LED illumination.
