Head Light Auto On Not Working

I recently replaced my battery and I noticed that my head light auto on at dusk feature is not working. I'm sure it's a reprogramming issue but I don't know how to do it. Anyone had this problem and how do you fix it?

I've had my battery replaced, and the AutoOn didn't need any reprograming. Could the light sensor be bad? When you put the light switch to "ON", what happens to the instrument lights when it's dark--do they dim?

It is possible to adjust the sensitivity. Do the lights turn on automatically in complete darkness such as in a garage?
