lise Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 My car just passed the 120,000 mile point and I was wonderingif anyone recommends a type or brand of spark plug?I know you need an iridium plug but would appreciate any advice! Thanks in advance!
1990LS400 Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 I would use OEM spark plugs. I had the oriiginal spark plugs in my 2000 LS400 changed 32,000 miles ago at 120,000 miles and the original ones appeared to be in excellent condition. The engine didn't run any differently before of after spark plugs were changed.

Just use the exact same type of OEM spark plug - maybe the exact brand and model plug that your car came with. Assuming you are not going to drive this car to 240,000 miles, you will never have to be concerned with this again.
