once i connect my new battery do i have to enter my radio code?

I thought the radio security code feature was discontinued on U.S. spec Lexus models in the mid-1990s. What does your owners manual say?

You might want to write down the radio frequencies for the selection buttons so you can reprogram the radio back to the way you had it after you replace the car battery. I keep a list of the programmed frequencies in my owners manual to make it easier.
