JNeal
Oh wise ones: Glad to be your newest member. Greatly appreciate input on parasitic battery drain for '99 es300 I inherited from Mom's estate. A beauty with low milage (the car). I have read a bit on using ammeter for trial and error fuse/relay testing. Before attempting, would benefit from knowing the mnfr's std battery drain level to benchmark drain readings. Is it 40 or 50 mA for a '99 ES300? Very much appreciate any guidance. JNeal Today, 01:
lexis lexus
seems to me the simplist explanation is a bad battery. it should not drain much, if at all. go to autozone or another car parts place and get it tested, they usually do it for free. if batt is ok, then you've got something draining it when car is off. depends how much you want to get into checking circuits ...
