BlackLex Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 Brake light comes on , so I replace front brake pads (needed) check fluid light goes out then come on later nest day so I replaced rear did not really need replacement but did any way ... light still on now I go around car and check all sensers one in rear right wire broke so I wire knotted them together and still brake pad light on in dash. breaks work good no squeeks or anything . what up?

Chances are that if the wire was cut, something probably hit it hard enough, to not only cut the wires, but probably damage the sensor in the process. They are kind of brittle when it comes to brute force. Another possibility is the low brake fluid sensor shorted telling the ECM the fluid is low when it isn't, or the fluid is actually low. Some ABS modules require a reset after new sensors are replaced and quite possibly may also be the culprit.
