Don33 Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 Hello everyone. My wife has finally decided that my LS 430 is a better car than her Caddy even though it is older and has three time the mileage. She does, however like the chrome wheels on her car better than those on the Lexus. I am wondering if I can swap the wheels between the two. The lug bolt spacing measures the same, but I have no clue about clearances for the calipers. Her Caddy is 2003 Deville...the Lexus si a 2002 LS 430. Same tires on both. Thanks
steve2006 Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 Lexus wheels have a PCD of 114.3 and the Caddy wheels are 115 so should in theory fit. Most wheels have the details of the offset and rim width stamped on the rear of the wheels so have a look to see how they match up. Other than that trial fit one of the fronts to see if the calipers are cleared and how they look on the Lexus. Make sure you use the correct lug nuts as Lexus OEM are normally sleeve type and after market/other makes may be tapered.
Don33 Posted October 13, 2011 Author Posted October 13, 2011 Thanks, Steve. I'll try the swap today. Also, what does PCD stand for and what does it mean?
