pismoj
My new vehicle does not identify/display the CD, artist, song, etc. It says no data, so I have no idea what CD is in what slot in the changer and what tracks are upcoming. My salesman says select the TEXT button. Their is no TEXT button on the CD screen when you have the Navi system. Their is a TEXT button on the SAT radio screen and that worked to identify artist and song. I have never had a premium vehicle that didn't identify the CD title, artist and song. Am I missing something? thank you

Am I missing something? thank you You are not missing anything. My 2010 ES is the same way. I went back just now and poured over the Navigation owners manual to see if I had missed any thing, but even the illustrations in the manual show the screens reading "No Data". I plan on calling Lexus customer support to see if I can get some answers.
jgilbert
It is better to rip your CD's into Itunes and then play your music with an Ipod plugged into your audio system. It will display artist, title, genre, etc.
