icehawk Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Hi Everyone LS400 (2000) the battery went flat afer storage, started the car with booster cables and everything fine, car drives like a dream. Next day car starts fine and while driving along the freeway all the guages stop working the A/C goes off and the electric windows will not work and steering goes a little heavey. Stop the car and resart and everything works again. Whats your best guess to the problem so it does not happen again. Many Thanks.
billydpowell Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 really, no idea... but if it was mine I would clean both battery cables and make sure I was getting good contact.... and pray a lot... .
steve2006 Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 I would given you had to jump start the car replace the battery,these cars do strange things when the battery is on its way out.
