pondfisher
Is there a place better than another to buy replacement headlamp bulbs. I have one light that comes on but goes out after 30 seconds or so. I have been told that you should replace both right and left bulbs to avoid one light appearing different than the other. If that is the case I am looking for a place to buy a pair of bulbs hopefully at a reduced cost. AutoZone wants $130 a piece or $260 for both plus tax. cduluk
Are you sure the problem is the bulb? It could also be a ballast or computer issue. Try new bulbs (since after 12 years your old bulbs are putting out MUCH less light...) and if it doesn't fix the issue then look for a new ballast. Best place for bulbs is eBay. Philips D2R 4300k #85126 i think.
pondfisher
Is there anyway to test the ballast before I buy the bulbs. I don't have any experience troubleshooting HID lights.
