Where Can I Get An Amplifier? 1992 Ls400

the amplifier in my 1992 ls400 blew and i am looking to get a new one but i am not sure where i can find one? does Lexus still sell them? if so how much would it be? also where can the amplifier be found?

I may have a refurbished amp, I'll look.

It must be the sub amp, Correct ? The audio amp is built into the headunit. I have both sub amp and headunit. PM or EM me for details.

You can easily find a used one on ebay:

The amplifier is located on the left hand side of the fuel tank in the trunk...it's easy to get to. This amp powers the subwoofer only...all other speakers are powered by the built-in amp in the head unit.

You can easily find a used one on ebay:

The amplifier is located on the left hand side of the fuel tank in the trunk...it's easy to get to. This amp powers the subwoofer only...all other speakers are powered by the built-in amp in the head unit.

I would beware of ebay used electronics, The seller may have had the same problem as you. I would only purchase a refurbished amp if I were you. Sound advice

I bought a used amp on e-bay over a year ago..and it still works perfectly!...but yes, reburbished and with some kind of warranty would be a great choice!

There's a guy in Houston that repairs Lexus radios, instrument panels, etc. including the Nakamichi. He does excellent work at a very reaonable prices. I used him once for a blown speaker. The dealer wanted $600 - he did it for $150. My instrument cluster blacked out a while back and he fixed it good as new for $150.
