Thump After Accelerating From Stop,what Is This?

hi guys just as the title says.a day or two ago i noticed after accelerating from a stoplight i feel a slight thump from my car.almost like im driving over a bump.ive never heard this before im pretty concerned has anyone ever had this problem or ave any opinions on what this could be.please any help or input would be great thank you

haha no i dont believe something in the trunk is the cause.when i get to a complete stop for a red light or stop sign.then i accelerate from the stop i feel a thump coming from the front end.almost feels like im running over a bump everytime i accelerate from a stop this occurs over and over again but only when accelerating from a stop.

Does it sound like the suspension? Transaxel ?

ill be honest im not sure im not that mechanically inclined.i mean im not completely dumb when it comes to cars.it only happens when im at a complete stop and then hit the gas to drive.

sounds like either your motor mount or your tranny. I get a slight thump sometimes with my car. usually when it gets real bad i check out my motor mount in the front and that came somewhat loose. tighten it and it works better. mine happens in the lowest gear like when i'm at a stop sign and about to pick up speed. it doesn't happen all the time or if i let my car warm up properly it doesn't happen. but yea get your motor mount checked out first might need to be replaced or tightened more likely tightened. If not could have to do with your tranny slipping maybe if so get it checked out at a tranny specialist.

Sounds like a motor or transmission mount to me too...
