blake918 Posted February 5, 2004 Posted February 5, 2004 I've been shopping around for a wiper motor for my '94. Newlexusparts.com wants $230, but I found one at a Toyota website for $144! Are the ES and Camry motors the same?? The only thing that could be different is that the ES wipers hide under the hood when they are off...I dunno about the Camry <_< .
99lsguy Posted February 6, 2004 Posted February 6, 2004 Blake, Don't know a thing about the ES or the Camry...but... Find out if that toyota dealer (or other used import dealer) has a 94 Camry on the lot...doubtful, but at least you could sit in it and work the wipers. Also, from my experience, many of the part numbers (between Lexus & Toyota)will only be different on the first digit or so. I've bought many items from Toyota and saved 50% over the Lexus price. SKperformance Posted February 6, 2004 Posted February 6, 2004 they look idential but the es one has the above and below option harness which the camry does not you might have to bite the bullet or pull yours apart and use the camry one to rebuild yours ,if you are into custom mods
