Will B. Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 I'm missing a couple screws and now one of the covers under the hood is rattling a little. Anyone know where to get more?
1990LS400 Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 One of your local Lexus dealers may be your best bet. I've never been able to find fasteners at on-line sellers even when I have the part number. I guess you could call a dealer like Sewell and maybe get them a little cheaper. Fasteners are one of the few types of parts I buy from my local Lexus dealer. They rarely have the fasteners I need in stock and usually have to order them -- prices are usually silly-high.

killerFatty Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 ACE hardware is always my first stop. My throttle body, T-stat, and air filter box are all held in with bolts purchased form ACE Hardware. The only fasteners I've had to get form the dealer were brake caliper bolts which I didn't exactly want to skimp on. I believe they were like $3.50 each, but only came in a bag of 5 so I had to buy them all.
