Matthew_McNally Posted March 3, 2003 Posted March 3, 2003 Click to read very balanced reiews I thought.
Import_Boy Posted March 3, 2003 Posted March 3, 2003 very interesting. Even though I feel that they should have used the turbo version of the sc300 instead. Maybe even the soarer tt
AWJ Posted March 3, 2003 Posted March 3, 2003 It is as balanced as the typical automotive journalist gets. Interesting comparison of Japanese offerings to Australia at a point when that must have been new and chic. Matt, I need to talk to you.
UCF3 Posted March 3, 2003 Posted March 3, 2003 You're right. It is kind of cut and dry. I don't think he would have used the 3.0TT since that option is not available for US or Aus Markets. I always thought the Supra was going to be a Skyline contendor and Soarer was the Z car contendor. Now I realize Toyota doesn't know what they're doing. That sucks
AWJ Posted March 6, 2003 Posted March 6, 2003 Well now...... They did do a great job with both vehicles and even though we did not get the turbo, we have options. So all is well that ends well. At least we got a shot to begin with. Sometimes those cars never make it here. Read - Skyline? There is always hope though.
UCF3 Posted March 6, 2003 Posted March 6, 2003 Nah, I blame Toyota and Nissan of North America. If they found a way around the Insurance problem, we might have been able to play with all Japanese models-left and right hand drive cars with their turbo models. :(
