lwleedy
Hi everyone, I had a dead battery the other day and removed the cover over the battery. I placed the retaining clips on the radiator. after the car was started the clips dropped and I couldn't find them. It was 0200 and I just got off a plane and wanted to go home I figured I'd find them in the morning, Nope. What are the clips called? I checked the owners manual and couldn't find them. I want to buy several but was going to try and find them online. I have a 2007 RX 400H Lenny
lemon
They're just called 'clip'. Lexus part #53259-0E010. Might be easier to just go to the dealership and get 'em.
Gryphon
My experience has been that Lexus dealers ALWAYS have these in stock, probably because they work so bass-ackward that they are easy to break. Tom
LexRexBlue
I dropped one of mine putting the cover back. The Lexus dealer has tons and will give it to you free.
sc400driver
I dropped one of mine putting the cover back. The Lexus dealer has tons and will give it to you free. I lost 2 pieces also and Lexus dealer charged me $3.23 each. I felt like someone just robbed me. What a scam

What a scam if that is really true - your dealer is a rat = mine was glad to give them to me for free = can you go to a different dealer ?? Gryphon
Next time simply tell the dealer that the "clips seem to be missing." Phrasing can be everything when it comes to warranty matters. :) Tom
