Thock! Problem When Parking And Turning Slow...

Wondering if anyone has heard of this.. or heard this...

In slow turning or parking situations i can hear loud thocks, or clicking sounds. One of my friends thinks its the ball joints but i have no idea! Any ideas??

I have the same problen and/or question for a '97 LS with about 167k.
