showster
My 2005, Rx 330, with 68K needs the strut mounts replaced. The local Lexus dealership already replaced the struts, which was covered by warranty, as the vehicle had below 50K at the time. I'm thinking the dealership should cover the strut mounts? Does anyone have any information for me to use as ammo?
Gibbie
I just replaced them on my 2005 (55k mile). The right strut was making a groaning sound and generally the hatch was becoming more difficult to raise. The replacements fixed both problems. Gibbie- I think he was talking about the front suspension strut mounts, at the top of the front suspension strut. They tend to be problematic on the Rx's. just like your rear lid support struts were. :)
