Since I bought my 2005 LS 430 without an owners manual I keep having to ask the members for what seems like simple help. I apologize for that. Can someone tell me the procedure to get my doors to lock when the car is put into gea and unlock when it's put into park?

I'm pretty sure that is an option that needs to be programmed at the dealer.

I'm pretty sure that is an option that needs to be programmed at the dealer.

You're correct it is but if you have your servicing done at Lexus ask them as a favour.

Register with the owners section on Lexus.com, and they'll let you view the PDF version of the manual, and they'll send you a printed manual for free, so don't pay for one at the dealer, ebay, etc.
