Is Wheel Bearing Defect In Ls 430 Year 2005 Endemic

I have a lexus 2005 model Ls 430, i had to change left wheel bearing in 3rd year , and right wheel bearing this year, i have only 50000 miles, this seems very unusul to me ., I wonder any other lexus owner of same year and same model have similar experiance.

How do you know when a wheel bearing change is needed? Is there some sort of noise?

My dad's 04 has somewhere around 80-90k miles and the original wheel bearings...

In all my time on Lexus forums I've never heard about some sort of common wheel bearing issue on the LS.
