Key Purchase

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

When I purchased my wife's 2000 LS400 it came with one key. It is a remote key. Recently, I have noticed the base of the key near the housing is loose. Can this be fixed? Also, I would like to purchase another remote key for a spare. Can someone please tell me the most cost effective approach?

Regards,

Dark Horse

Try to snap it back together.

Sewell is good for keys I've heard.

By the way guys, if I buy a second remote master, it will have it's own unique code (I assume.....). If this is the case, can the car ('04 LS430) be set up so that the seat pre-sets go to position 1 for one key and position 2 for the second key when one of them is used to remotely unlock the car?

And use discount code "909RK" when you check out. ;) Email them a copy of your title and drivers license, and they'll cut it for free too. For the broken key, I'd just buy a new shell for $50: http://www.sewellpartsonline.com/parts_detail.asp?id=88782
