Dark Horse
Hi All, When I purchased my wife's 2000 LS400 it came with one key. It is a remote key. Recently, I have noticed the base of the key near the housing is loose. Can this be fixed? Also, I would like to purchase another remote key for a spare. Can someone please tell me the most cost effective approach? Regards, Dark Horse
jcrome04
Try to snap it back together. Sewell is good for keys I've heard. http://www.sewellpartsonline.com/default.asp

If this is the case, can the car ('04 LS430) be set up so that the seat pre-sets go to position 1 for one key and position 2 for the second key when one of them is used to remotely unlock the car? For the broken key, I'd just buy a new shell for $50: http://www.sewellpartsonline.com/parts_detail.asp?id=88782
