w140amg Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 On a 1995 LS400l, does the cooling system require all toyota engine coolant or a 50/50 mix with distilled water? Thanks!! PS. Also, where is the A/C recharge cap on the '95 LS?
AcidFire52 Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 50/50. I don't know of any car that takes straight coolant.
AZ Mike Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 Just read the labels.....some coolants come pre-diluted. I believe the super long life Toyota stuff is pre-diluted, so you don't mix with water.
SKperformance Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 What you choose is dependent on the car but mainly where and how it is used. If you rarley go below zero then use more water, if it does then have more coolant. Water is more effeicent at transferring heat but freezes and boils. Also it has no agents to keep corrosion down , lube the system or clean it.
