96 Es300 Shaking Upon Acceleration

I have a 1996 ES300, and when i hit 40mph the wheel start to shake. But when i loose the accelerator or press brakes it stops. at times it even click like the axle is bad when going up hill. what can be my problem? someone told me the CV axle might be bent, is that even possible?

I had the same problem - until I had a blowout. It was the alignment. May be the same for you, may not be, but you should definitely have it checked out.

I had similar issue with my 95 ES300, it was warped rotor and bad brake caliper. Have your brakes inspected.

thanks, i found the culprit! It was a bad CV Axle. I changed the axle and transmission fluid and now the problem is gone :) B)
