4 Trouble Lights Come On

Recommended Posts

Hi, I have owned my 2004 RX330 for 2 years now. I am having a problem and was hoping someone could give me direction.

These four trouble lights come on (brakes / VSC / ABS / low tire pressure). They come on while the car is running and go off after just a short time. They do not come on when I first start the car. Also, they are not on long enough to go to the dealer while they are still on. I have noticed that my car's gas mileage is down 3 mph ever since this has been happening. Has anyone had a similar experience? Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Hi Sue - Sorry no answers, but I started having exact same problem with my 2006 RX330 in December. My gas mileage has been reduced lately as well, but was attributing to underinflated tires was btwn 28-30 psi. Will be interested to find an answer!!

Go have the codes read at a auto parts store and than maybe we can help.....

I am having the exact same problem.

Do the codes show up even if the lights are not on when pulling up at the auto parts store?

Stored codes "should" remain in the system and available for reading until they are deleted by a removal procedure.

I have the exact same problem and in addition my windows randomly stop working and now as of today the radio changes channels by itself!

I stopped by a local auto parts store and all the tests came back clear and no error codes appeared. The guy told me it could be a 'short circuit' somewhere and suggested I find a local lexus electrical specialists.....Is it possible that lightning struck nearby and maybe this is the cause? I know nothing about cars!

Have you had your battery checked? Sometimes a dieing can cause problems like these.
