bran1974 Posted January 5, 2004 Posted January 5, 2004 Parts of the digits stay on all the time on the display. Is there any way to fix. If it can't be fixed can it be replaced. If so how.
SKperformance Posted January 5, 2004 Posted January 5, 2004 Have you tried pressing hard on the corners of the display ,maily the right side of it.Not on the clear plastic cover but at the edge on the black plastic and its area. The connections usually go around there and need to be reseated. Mine disappears completly until i press on it . I don;t really care as my tv is usually up in front of it.
bbsal Posted January 5, 2004 Posted January 5, 2004 i agree try pressing on it because they do come out and sometimes pushing on it will reset it and you will be fine!if that dont work then i would think the only way is to replace it if its broke.

poppabear Posted January 28, 2004 Posted January 28, 2004 I have the same problem except the lower part of my display is turning black in addition to the digits. It seems to be humidity related. When I go to Las Vegas, the blackness slowly goes away. When I return to San Diego, the blackness rapidly comes back. I have been looking at Ebay for a replacement head unit. They had a couple a few days ago, but none now.
