1991 Ls400 Speaker Issue

Only my right rear speaker is working, any thoughts on where to start troubleshooting.

pull the door panel off the left side and ill bet u find the speaker is blown...i had to replce mine also

That could be possible but I doubt all but one speaker is blown, only the right rear speaker is working. There is some faint music in the other speakers when I adjust fade and balance.

This could be the telephone mute circuit problem it has been well documented before and is due to water getting into a connector under the rear seat.
