warrenbrook Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 I will need to replace the Dunlop SP Sports Maxx on my '06 IS-250 6MT in the next couple of months. I live in Atlanta and was considering the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2s, until my tire dealer recommended the new all season Goodyear Eagle GTs for almost $300 less. Has anyone on this site purchased these new Goodyears, and how do they perform?
bartkat Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 I had the previous Eagle GT All seasons on my Firebird and they did great. I even got caught in snowstorms in Ohio a couple of times and they even did ok in the snow. I would recommend them.
smooth1 Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 Yeah, the Eagle GT's a good, but do you mean the Michelin Pilot Sport all seasons or the PS'2?
warrenbrook Posted December 5, 2008 Author Posted December 5, 2008 I was looking at the Pilot Sport PS2s because they were top rated in most surveys. I know the "new" Eagle GTs aren't as quite as good, but have had very good professional reviews and seem to be a good price/performance compromise. Any one out there have the new Eagle GTs on their IS? I'd love to hear a real world review. Yeah, the Eagle GT's a good, but do you mean the Michelin Pilot Sport all seasons or the PS'2?
smooth1 Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 the Eagle GT's aren't anywhere near the tire the PS2's are.
