jschunke
Lexls tutorial illustrates the tranny fluid coming out of the bottom fitting of the radiator. On my 1993 ls400 the fluid comes out of the 3/8" tubing flowing into the bottom of the radiator. Anyway, in the confusion of all this I didn't realize that the fluid had already flushed out and ran the car for several minutes while the transmission fluid was draining (more like trickling) from the 3/8" tubing. It runs fine, but wondering if I could have damaged anything running it that long without tranny fluid. Eli
93ls400walt
Not a transmission expert but I think there would be minimal to no damage since you were in park and at idle. If you drove with low fluid I think you could damage the drive plates and develop slipping, overheating and excessive metal wear.
